The Sealy Cozy Rest crib mattress is engineered with 150 heat tempered innerspring coils that are interwoven for durability. The coils are 15 gauge, allowing the coils to remain close together without making the mattress too heavy to lift (which is helpful when you need to change the bed sheets). All Sealy crib mattresses are durability tested using 240 pounds weight rolled on the mattress up to 100,000 times! The coils are very strong and heat-tempered for resiliency right in the U.S. factory.

All Sealy crib mattresses, including the Sealy Cozy Rest are designed with an airflow pocket located on the bottom gusset to help maintain freshness. Sealy crib mattresses utilize this airflow pocket and avoid using small metal airhole vents punched into the crib mattresses as they may become dislodged as potentially pose a small parts risk to infants and toddlers. Most crib mattresses and adult mattress on the market today no longer use these metal parts as they are unnecessary parts especially if there is an airflow pocket designed and engineered into the mattress.

The date of manufacture is located on the law tag which is sewn into the bottom gusset of the crib mattress and it is safe for use for children for any date listed.
