This is a high-density foam-core and foam these days are very firm, sturdy and long-lasting. Our foam mattresses pass all the same durability testing that our innerspring mattresses pass. Innersprings have some bounce and resilience to them because the coils are heat tempered which makes them return to their original shape. High-density foam tends to have less give. You may see low density and bonded fiber thermo core foams on the market but they do not tend to pass the same durability tests that these foams do.
