no. it doesn't come off but is easily cleaned w/ a wash cloth and air dried (per it's labeled instructions). i have done it myself and that has been sufficient

We recommend handwashing the Contours® Lite Stroller seat, basket and canopy fabric with a mild soap and water solution.

i remember when it came in various colors because i have the red one. hope they bring back the other selections soon or i'll be stuck buying the only color available everywhere online which is orange.

Currently, the Contours® Lite stroller is only available in the Tangelo (orange/gray) color. We will be introducing a new option in early 2011, so stay tuned for more details!

Question

Is there a release lever or button to close the canopy?

I just assembled my stroller and the canopy seems to be "stuck" in the open position and I don't want to bend the wire frame by forcing it closed. The manual just says "close canopy" but it isn't that easy on my stroller. If I close the entire stroller the canopy closes but it seems to be due to force. Thank you for your help, I love everything else about this stroller so far and don't want to cause damage.

Upon further investigation, it appears that at the base of the canopy, where it attaches to the stroller on either side, you should pull the wire frame outwards at those pivot points and it closes without using blunt force. I might recommend this hint be included in the manual for this model.

We're happy to hear that you are enjoying your Contours Lite stroller! The canopy on this particular stroller does not have a lever or release button. To close the canopy, just push the canopy back.

not all the way like a bed but close to it. it's the only stroller i ever used from the time my child was newborn up to 3 yrs old (i bought her that individual infant head supporter and used it in this stroller). it's nice and a smooth ride. highly recommended

Yes, the entire front bar with the child's snack tray and cup holder can be removed from the Contours® Lite stroller. This also allows your child to have easy access to the seat.

it has two red plastic tabs near each side of the handle bar. you pull them upwards simultaneously and it closes/folds

The Contours® Lite stroller can be easily folded by following these steps:

1. Before folding, lock the brakes.
2. Close canopy and then pull up the latches on the frame to fold and push forward.
3. Fold and engage the locking latch.

Hello,

Unfortunately, the tray on the Contours Lite Stroller will only fit the Contours Lite Stroller. The design of this tray will not work for the Contours Tandem due to safety issues.

Question

Contours® Lite Stroller-Handle Not Height Adjustable?

You have very advanced design concepts - how hard would it be to then REDESIGN and ADD a handle that does 'height adjust'? Again, for tall Dads and Moms. I'm just 5'11" and I still have to lean over some. Leaning over a stroller on walks with grandchildren is NOT at all fun and comfortable. It should be. Thank you.
