how do i clean the hood?
i have been given a bassinet, but it needs to be clean. had no ploblem removing the bedding except for the hood ..how does that come off to be clean? thank you becky stevens at bss625@hotmail.com

I have a front loader washer, so I just put the whole hood in it. It came out just fine.

my hood came off but not the fabric off the boning so i gently washed by hand so i wouldnt bend the boning of the hood and i assembled it back on

The hood doesn't come off (or at least I couldn't see how). So I just submerged it in my sink and hand washed it, agitating it with my hand. Then I managed to keep it spread out and let it air dry over night. Hope this helps!

I have this bassinet and in order to clean the hood, I would take a damp towel with hypoallergenic dish-washing soap and wipe the entire area inside and out. Rinse out the towel and wipe hood (repeat if necessary) until soap is rinsed. Then let it air dry in a well ventilated room. Washing it any other way might shrink the hood.

Directly above this "Product Q&A" section there is a box with tabs in it. Click "instructions" tab. Then click "Download Cuddle 'n Care® PDF Instructions". Page 23 of the instruction manual is "Replacement Part List" showing ALL parts (including "fitted sheet $9.00). Page 24 is "Replacement Parts Order Form". You can fax or mail the form or you can call in to place an order. There is NO option to order online. The address/fax/phone info is in the "Customer Service" section, under "Order Replacement Parts".

Yes - first find the model # for your product which is located on a date of manufacture sticker/tag (usually on the tubing). Then contact our customer service at (800) 453-7673 or customerservice@kolcraft.com.

Question
I removed cover to wash from cuddle and care bassinet and can't get it back on. Was given bassinet so have no directions.

In the middle of page 18 is where "Care & Maintenance" begins. It shows how to remove/wash/replace the cover. FYI, it says NOT to dry in a dryer because it may shrink. If already did and it shrunk too much to get it back on: Page 23 of the manual is "Replacement Part List" showing ALL parts (including the cover). Page 24 is "Replacement Parts Order Form". You can fax or mail the form or you can call in to place an order. There is NO option to order online. The address/fax/phone info is in the "Customer Service" section, under "Order Replacement Parts".

Hood
We bought a Kolcraft Cuddle n Care Light Vibes Mobile at a consignment shop. The hood attaches to the back side rather than the end. Where do we buy skirts and bedding for this type? All I have found on the web have the hood on one end rather than on the back side.

Question
How can I find either mattress pad or bedding?
We used this one with my daughter and I never knew the exact deminsions and I have no clue on anything else about it either. It was given to us by a friend and I love it but need a size for the bedding or something because the mattress is uncleanable and we are having a second child so finding a mattress or sheet would be great.
