The Sealy Ortho Rest crib mattress is engineered with 150 heat tempered innerspring coils that are interwoven for durability. The coils are 15 gauge, allowing the coils to remain close together without making the mattress too heavy to lift (which is helpful when you need to change the bed sheets). All Sealy crib mattresses are durability tested using 240 pounds weight rolled on the mattress up to 100,000 times! The coils are very strong and heat-tempered right in the U.S. factory.
