Hi Jen. Both the Sealy Natural Rest and the Sealy Baby Firm Rest are designed for use with both infants and toddlers and have 204 coils and full border wire. The Baby Firm Rest has more features in it including an extra anti-sag weight distribution system in the center of the mattress and comes with an antibacterial enhanced cover. You may want to use the Baby Firm Rest in the crib since it has the extra system to keep the mattress firmer in the middle, where most infants are placed in their cribs and with leaky diapers the antibacterial surface will help prevent mold and bacteria growth. Or another idea, let your toddler choose which one he or she likes better since toddlers can tell you how much they like it! Both are safe to use with infants and toddlers. :)
